Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrades can increase the stats of a piece of equipment and, sometimes, even add extras. The value of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements and the amount of random enhancements used.
For instance, the premium racial shield Razortail is usually upgraded to improve its lightning absorb capability in PvP or to add additional defenses to missile-based designs in PvM. This makes it more marketable than the non-upgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens allow you to buy a new item, like armor, weapon, or ring. This allows you to swap the item for one similar item and comes with an additional set of bonuses. Reroll tokens are an affordable way to upgrade gear. They don't preserve the original equipment's condition, and any resources wasted won't get compensated.
The surviving players can acquire reroll tokens in several ways, including through the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. You can also find them in crates and chests or purchase them at the market for $150 each. Reroll tokens are used to alter the attributes of an item of equipment, for example increasing the damage it can cause.
Players can reroll their equipment using three aspects three categories: physical power, magic power and health. Upgrades to physical power can increase the damage caused by weapons and melee attack and spell power upgrade mage attacks and the ring. Health upgrades give the player an extra health.
There are three kinds of Reroll tokens: upgrade, rare and legendary. Each upgrade elevates an item to a higher quality, with the requirement of an upgraded reroll token in order to create it. Upgrades that are enhanced require a standard item, rare upgrades require a unique or legendary item and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.
In contrast to other special tokens and markers that are placed on Action spaces, the reroll marker remains in the space until the next success result is rerolled. This is a way to ensure that upgrades are not wasted.
Blueprints appear in the form of envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation Phase, and can be opened by grabbing them using Interact. When they are opened, they show an explanation and icon for the Ingredient or Appliance. The restaurant's shop can exchange blueprints for a new appliance or ingredient for an amount of money.
As a result, blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool during a game. This alters the blueprints the restaurant's shop offers for rerolls, and also those that are in the non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
Weapons, armor, and accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These stones are special stones which increase the value of an item by increasing its stats or attributes. They can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the main towns. They can also purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a cost. They can also be obtained by players who sign daily contracts.
To upgrade equipment players must first locate the item and then click the "level up button". This will show a list of the item's levels and what it will become after being upgraded. It will also show the amount of Growth Stones needed to accomplish this. The amount of Growth Stones required to upgrade a piece of gear will depend on its rarity. Rare (blue), rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor only requires one Growth Stone.
After choosing the item to upgrade, the player must select the number of Growth Stones that they want to purchase and pay the cost. Once the player has met the requirements, they can click the upgrade button and apply the Growth Stones. This will increase the item's level a certain percentage. The process of upgrading can last anywhere from seconds to several minutes, based on the rarity of the item.
The upgrade process is risk-free, and does not impact the durability of the item. It's a great way for players who want to gain an advantage in combat but don't want to burden their wallets. Moreover players can transfer experience and the progress of an upgraded item to new item by clicking the "transfer" tab.
The process of getting Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty is a daunting task for new players. There are a variety of ways to acquire them. You can complete contracts and purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants, defeat Abyssal Contracts, obtain them from Equipment Stone Seal Book or get them from reward chests during the Ancient Arena Season. Players can also break down the higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.
Leveling
Leveling is an option that lets players boost the base stats of weapons, armor, helms, and trinkets. It is accomplished by adding upgrades at the Upgrade Station, paying a fee of Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The process will consume upgrade materials and grant the item a higher level, granting the item an additional boost in that area. This process can continue until the item reaches its maximum level.
Items that have upgraded base stats display an icon of blue in their slot. In contrast to enchantments, upgrade components don't stack against each other, and can only be added to a single item at a time. Each upgrade component will require an amount of items and a minimum equipment level.
The Upgrade Station comes with two slots: the left is where players can put in an item to be upgraded, while the right side shows a glimpse of what the equipment will look like when it reaches its next level. Once the player has enough items, pressing the yellow arrow will start the upgrade process.
A piece of gear can be upgraded a maximum of five times. Each time an item is upgraded, its stats will be increased by a small percentage. The maximum level for an item is 19.
When an item reaches its maximum level that it can no longer have the option to upgrade. When a piece of equipment is upgraded to a certain track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track will be discounted.
Upgrade components are a type of equipment that is able to be inserted into armors, weapons, trinkets and gathering tools to give an extra effect or attribute bonus while the equipment is equipped. They can be purchased through vendors, looted or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be swapped by acquiring new ones. However, this will ruin the previous upgrade.
Requirements
Item upgrades give players the ability to boost certain stats of weapons and armor that they currently own. The requirements to upgrade an item differ based on the item type however, generally you'll require Dilithium and a variety of Upgrade Tokens (various options available).
Item upgrade components can be incorporated into equipment set pieces or weapons to provide extra effects or a higher quality item. The upgrades can be acquired through a variety of sources in the game, including crafting, purchased at the Trading Post or karma vendors or looted from bosses or raids, or retrieved from dungeons. Once an upgrade component is placed in an item it isn't able to be removed or replaced freely, however, the glyphs used in gathering tools can be swapped without restriction.
Upgrades can increase an item's Mark Level or Rarity. Some upgrade components come with additional modifiers that can improve the item's statistics.
The upgrade to the helm "Foundation of the Sun" for instance, increases defense base and adds an additional 20% chance to block. In addition the dps upgrade "Wildfire" increases weapon damage.
Some items are better off being upgraded less for their increased stats, but more for the fact that it lets players get the maximum amount of value from a perfect roll on the item. A perfectly rolled 200/6500 armor set piece, for example is highly sought-after by the melee PvP communities and could be worth as much as 20-50 times that of the unupp'd version.
The game will display the requirements when you select the upgrade component that is incorporated into the item. The game will show the required requirements when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.
Once you've satisfied the requirements for upgrading The game will then place the item in your inventory and the progress bar will change to show how close you are to completing it. You can also check the status of an upgrade by visiting any item upgrader NPC.
